I love these anthologies so much! Its such a fun and enjoyable way to read stories from a bunch of authors all in one go, and its a really cool way to get introduced to new authors as well! The Delicious anthologies specifically are my favorite because I love when food is a part of stories and that's what these anthologies are all about! Which is fantastic! I am going to give a little mini review of my favorite stories within this anthology, although I did enjoy all of them!
In no particular order...
Ripe for Romance by Lee Blair
This story was adorable! I loved how the universe kept shoving these two men together until they finally realized that maybe there's a reason for them continuing to run into each other. It was such a cute and lighthearted story and I love how we got to see familiar places from Lee's other series!
Eat Crow by Rory Maxwell
This one is one of my favorite stories in this anthology!! I kept wishing it was longer as I was reading because I just enjoyed the characters so much! the aspect of them filming a cooking show was so fun to read about and seeing Skylar get his happy ending and Ron getting the boot from Skylar's grandma was perfect! plus, we even got Skylar's grandma's famous biscuit recipe!! I will most definitely be trying it at some point!
Breakfast Sandwiches by Charlie Novak
This was yet another adorable story! Bacon and Frankie are opposites but they go together so well, just like the bacon and eggs on Bacon's special Sandwiches!
Banter over the BBQ by Toby Wise
I always adore anything Toby writes and this book was another one of those that I just couldn't help but to love. I think this one was the most comedic, it was so lighthearted and so wild and all the corny jokes and flirty innuendo made for a comedic read!
All in all this anthology was fantastic!! I enjoyed every single story and I loved how onr of the author's actually included a recipe in their story, that was such a nice surprise! I am definitely going to be trying that recipe out soon!
