Kellen needs to escape Arturo so takes a job with Victor offers him to start over. Adam takes a job bouncing for Victor and doesnt let anyone in on the truth why he arrived in Green Valley Lake. He becomes close to Kellen and they start something that to be frank Adam isn't ready for with all that is happening. When his past comes back he has to close the loose ends and in the process hurting the fragile relationship he was building with Kellen. I am honestly glad Kellen doesn't immediately forgive but makes Adam show he's here for real, along with fully coming open about his life. These two have a rough go but in the end you can tell they really are there for each other.

It's A Daddy for Christmas season!!! I really enjoyed getting to know both Kellan and Adam and seeing their Daddy/boy relationship take form. I appreciated that Kellan isn't a pushover and holds Adam accountable for his actions, while still being sweet and wonderful. This book is a little angstier than some holiday books, but it was great reading with a sweet holiday HEA.
