Best Laid Plans by Riley Long (Heartland Overhaul book 3)

We return to the Heartland Overhaul series with Best Laid Plans...

From the blurb:

When my carefully planned life goes off-script, I escape to visit my college best friend with one simple goal: rest, regroup, retreat. I’m an exhausted reality TV interior designer—not someone looking to start over or fall in love. Especially not with my best friend’s brother, who’s grumpy, closed-off, and definitely not a fan.

What’s supposed to be a quick visit turns into a situation—too much proximity, too much tension, and way too much of him. With him, there are no cameras, no big reveals, no pressure to perform. Just a guy who sees me exactly as I am.

But when my old life starts calling me back and these new feelings refuse to stay simple, I have to decide: stick to the plan… or risk everything for something real.

Best Laid Plans is a low-angst, small-town, bi-for-bi MM romance featuring grumpy/sunshine dynamics, forced proximity, a secret relationship, plenty of spice, and a guaranteed HEA.

Heather's Review:

I love when Riley Long does what they do best - give us a sweet, spicy, low angst, small town read... I absolutely adore Ellis and Kieran and watching them get together.  Kieran was so sweet while trying to figure out his next steps and Ellis was so supportive once he got over his naturally grumpy instincts.

This book was easy to pick up and hard to put down... I read it straight through and enjoyed from beginning to end.
