Great story, really sucks you in. Let’s start with the fact that, for me, this author was a real “black hole”—I hadn’t read anything by them until now. That makes the pleasure of discovering a captivating story all the more intense and satisfying.

This was a story that kept me up past my bedtime. Each book I read from this author keeps getting better each time. This is a spin-off series from the original north shore titans, but can be read as a standalone, we do see a few cameos from the previous series show up. I absolutely cannot wait to read more from this series.

It's definitely on the darker side, skirting on the consent part quite seriously because Unhinged and crazy here are the normal way of living. This isn't the kind of straight laced romance a reader expects with a balanced three way relationship and standard HEA. But exactly this difference makes the book interesting to read.
Hunter and Atlas carry the weight of a past that can't be shaken off or shelved as Been there, done that, it's over now. On the contrary. Exactly their past made the blood and bones of the story while Jenkins added a spoon of normalcy and sweetness with his ordinary life. Mixed together, the dark and the light created an intriguing blend that kept me reading, invested how everything will end. The somewhat open HEA left a lot for thinking and contemplation.
The rivals to lovers part and the primal chases were my favorite elements in the story, combined with the adequate level of spice.
Only the bi awakening needed a little bit more of a touch but it didn't trip me.
This is definitely one of the best reads I had this year and I enjoyed the experience.
