Just This Kiss (Men Of Porth Luck Book 3) by Garrett Leigh

A fantastic series continues with Just This Kiss. A beautifully written romance about a fisherman, a farmer, and a connection that seems inevitable.

From the blurb:

Love hurts. Love heals. Love stays.

Just This Kiss – Men of Porth Luck, #3

A single dad. A deaf farmer. A bond they weren’t looking for—and yet…

“I know your voice.”

Oscar is happy alone. He has his son, his boat, and no interest in men. He’d know by now, right?

So why can’t he stop thinking about the man he kissed two summers ago?

Those wheat-gold curls.

Those ocean-blue eyes and soft lips like firebrands.

Poet is starting over in Porth Luck. He doesn’t need anyone, doesn’t do relationships, and certainly doesn’t have time for the beautiful fisherman who keeps crossing his path.

But Oscar’s voice is the first Poet has heard—and felt—in more than a decade. They fit together like sunshine and sand, like the earth and roots of the oldest trees on his land. And if Poet was raised to believe anything, it’s that sometimes the love that heals you is the love that makes a home.

Their home, if Oscar wants it to be, and all they’ve built survives the wildfire they never saw coming.

Expect: Steamy MM romance. Hurt/comfort & healing love. Single dad & deaf hero. Bi awakening & first times. Small town, found family, emotional angst

SNik's review:

Third in series (Men of Porth Luck), can be read as a standalone but might be better if read in order. Small town. Single dad. Disability representation. Found family. Slow burn. Dual POV.

One kiss between Oscar and Poet that resonates, and two years later when they meet again the connection is still there. Oscar’s first priority has always been his son, but he can’t resist letting Poet become a really important part of his life.

This is a romantic story with beautiful writing about a fisherman and a farmer discovering a once in a lifetime kind of love that seeps into their very beings. There are two incredibly likable characters in Oscar and Poet, a huge group of found family that is beyond supportive, and a love story that creeps up on two men and won’t shake loose. I appreciated that there was little relationship angst as Oscar and Poet fell in love, and it felt like they connected on an emotional level before the physical elements slowly developed. A really lovely story, I have enjoyed this series immensely so far.
