Lincoln Mercer has proved yet again what a powerful writer they are. Henry and Tristan two men who were so wronged in the past that to this day they allow it to affect their lives. Henry being older and able to admit to the world and himself as gay, has a little easier time at it, than Tristan who is younger and the trauma of his past still more present in his life. When these two cross paths in the real world damn do the sparks fly, Lincoln has pulled off that perfect balance of pure hot heat with an emotional rollercoaster to make you fall so deeply for both of their MCs. They bring in the BDSM community in a way that doesn’t feel ‘book’ real but real life real, something as an avid reader I look for in authors writing in the BDSM community. Was a privilege to be able to see these men grow as their relationship deepened, they didn’t let their pasts dictate them fully, they worked on it to move forward. The found family these men are a part of and have built show what a beautiful community this is out there when you find the right people.

I love how this book flowed! Both men had pasts that impacted their wants and needs, but both were open to possibilities and where life would take them once they got out of their own way! Finding safe space with each other was beautiful and really opened up the possibility to explore what their kinks actually were and how they'd manifest with each other. Sweet and wonderful, full of unexpected twists and with just enough BDSM and Daddy/boy content, this was a lovely read and a great HEA for both Tristan and Henry!
