Break Me Daddy by Skyler Snow

As much as Break Me Daddy is the first book in the new Mafia Daddies series, I recommend starting with His Boy To Tame from the Naughty or Nice Season Two collection which focuses on side characters from this book, but also introduces us to Six, as Ty's best friend...

From the blurb:

I did something stupid.

Something needlessly, hopelessly, stupid and now my past is catching up with me. I knew when I saw that cash I should have left it alone, but I needed it. And doesn’t the world owe me a little bit of luck? A little reprieve from the constant BS?

Sorry. I can’t help but to rant about my situation because the truth is that I am royally screwed. You see, I stole money from the mob. One stupid decision made in the heat of the moment and now I’m running for my life. A friend gave me enough money to hide…

But he’s coming for me.

Amadeo wants to possess everything that I am and punish me for what I’ve done. Maybe I could take that if he wasn’t so intent on making me call him ‘Daddy’. And maybe I wouldn’t care about that title, if it didn’t make me tingly all over. But I despise him and I always will. No matter what my stupid body…and heart…has to say.

Break me Daddy is a full-length MM Daddy romance with morally gray characters, a possessive and demanding Daddy, a willful and bratty boy, a load of bloody violence and a well deserved HEA.

Heather's Review:

Mafia Daddy romances can go two ways and Break Me Daddy went so amazingly well!  Fair warning, this one comes with a lot of triggers... dub con, kidnapping, violence, murder... but man, the story just flows and the chemistry - off the charts!

I was sucked in and literally lost a couple of hours reading this book - I sat down at 10 am and looked up and it was after noon... I was so engrossed that I literally lost two hours!

Everything just worked - from the characters themselves to the suspense and the side characters - it was also great seeing Ty and Clay from His Boy To Tame having interwoven cameos and the foreshadowing of book two - just yum!

If you are good with the triggers and love a dark daddy who falls for the bratty boy, you'll love Break Me Daddy by Skyler Snow.

Lesetiger's Review:

Break Me Daddy was an absolutely fantastic series opener that entertained me greatly.

Wow, what a great book. The blurb sounded interesting, but the story is so much more!

The writing style is easy-going and once you start reading, you can't put the book down.

The story is wonderfully written: Dark, emotional, but also funny and exciting. Very entertaining to read with fascinating characters. You just have to love Six and Amadeo!

Amadeo is not an easy man, in business he has to be tough as nails. But he also has a vulnerable side that hardly anyone gets to see.

Six simply did the wrong thing when he stole the money from the casino. But he is willing to pay the price. But he's not willing to back down in front of Amadeo.

The two are the perfect match for each other. I found the communication between the two delightful and the chemistry between the two is explosive and hot. And towards the end, the suspense curve really ramps up.

This was an absolutely fantastic series opener that entertained me greatly. I loved this book and am now eagerly awaiting volume 2!
