The final man in the Honorably Discharged series is getting his HEA, even if it starts out with a 'fake' marriage!
From the blurb:
After my brothers-in-arms have all moved out, I’m suffering from a kind of empty nest syndrome. The only one left is Forest, Creek’s little brother.
Except he’s not that little. He’s seriously hot and sassy, and the way I dream about him is anything but brotherly.
But he’s too young for me, too innocent. Too…perfect. He doesn’t need a man with my kind of baggage.
When he gets sick, I’m there for him, even when he allows no one else in.
I will do anything to take care of him…and that includes marrying him so he’ll have health insurance.
But when fake becomes real, I don’t know what to do. Forest may need me, but how do I explain to him that I need him just as much?
Nash is the fourth book in the Honorably Discharged Series, which can be read as standalones but are much more fun if read in order.
Heather's Review:
Now that his brothers in arms have found their HEA and left the protective nest Nash built, I'm so excited for Nash to do the same... and with Forest! These two men have been orbiting each other, neither one going for what they want... until their fake marriage becomes real, from the first moment they kiss!
I loved the way these two men fit into each other's lives and loves, holding back out of fears and misplaced loyalty, just waiting to be told to get out of their own way...
It's a beautiful ending to the series and you get to see all the past HD guys come into their own and share advice back to Top and Forest - it's emotional for both their relationship and the ones that extend to their circle of family and friends.
While you can read this book as standalone, I agree with the authors that you'll get way more out of it by starting at the beginning with Creek...
Molly Otto's review:
A beautiful closing to a beautiful series. Nash has always been the protector, the guiding light to these broken men who survived so much and came out on the other side to live. When the men slowly leave the safety of theor combined residence Nash must learn to do something for himself. Forrest moved to be closer to his brother Creek, but life doesnt always go as planned. When Forrest body betrays him, he learns to lean on Nash while still showing an unyielding strength even on his bad days. These two were made to have each other in the end, what started as convenience turned into life altering love. A perfect close to this series.
