Jennifer takes a more serious note with this mmm romance. Gael & Sin have been best friends from the age of five on and can not understand why their partners don't want to share and be with both. When Gael begins seeing Phin, he feels something more and just hopes Phin sees it too. Phin takes a bit to see how he fits into this established pair. When so much has been withheld from all species, it is no surprise no one understands how this should work, and yet the pieces fall as they should for the three to balance one another. With that right amount of angst to show the pain of accepting what was withheld, Jennifer shows us the path may be rough, but when it is right, it is beautiful. A well-balanced read of heat and angst with a tone of sweetness to balance the story. It is a great piece of writing that I hope to see more from Jennifer in the future in this style.
