Continuing both the Road to Roctoberfest multi-author series and the author's Embrace the Fear storyline, His Last Chase is a book that gives Chase his HEA!
From the blurb:
Loneliness is an uncomfortably familiar emotion For Chase Prescott. As the lead singer for the band Embrace the Fear he’s constantly surrounded by his bandmates and best friends, but regardless he feels solitary—separate. Alone.
Casey Robinson hasn’t had a boy in too long. Over the years he’s had boys of many types, but none stuck around. What he craves is a little of his own but searching for his boy has left Casey feeling empty.
Chase is all tangled up inside, silently screaming, envious of what his friends have but not knowing how to get it. Then a friend suggests he check out the club he and his boyfriend frequent as a way of getting out of his own head. At this point Chase figures, why not?
Resigned to giving up his club membership, Casey walks the halls one last time to say his goodbyes.
A brief pause in front of the littles room changes Casey and Chase’s lives in the best of ways.
This is the fourth and final book in the Embrace the Fear series featuring a little screaming to be set free, a Daddy ready to give up, and a best friend that turns into a know-it-all butthead.
His Last Chase is part of the multi-author Road to Rocktoberfest 2024 series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but why not read them all and see what antics our bands get into next? Hot rockstars and the men who love them, what more could you ask for. Kick back, load up your kindle and enjoy the men of Rocktoberfest!
Heather's Review:
Whether you've read other Road to Rocktoberfest or the previous Embrace the Fear storyline or not, if you enjoy watching a public figure claim the part of himself that he's hidden away in fear, then you'll enjoy watching Chase embrace his little side and interact with Casey, the daddy who almost gave up...
I really enjoyed the way TL Travis was able to balance the rockstar persona, the man and the little boy inside as we learn more about Chase... and as he and Casey form a strong kink connection and a relationship that transcends their Daddy/little kink. It was lovely to see cameos from the band and see how their relationships with their partners impacted Chase and as someone who has followed the Embrace the Fear band, I'm so happy that Chase, as the final single band member, got his well deserved HEA and embraced the fear of exposing his little self...
I hope TL Travis continues to write in the Road to Roctoberfest world, perhaps embracing a new band and new characters to interact with the Embrace the Fear guys so we can keep getting glimpses of these sweet men.
His Last Chase is currently available as an e-book and paperback and can be read as part of your Kindle Unlimited Subscription
