Ugh my heart!! We finally have the story behind Austin, aka Daredevil, and Greer! I admit, I was super curious what could have happened to have made Austin such a shit whenever he was in Greer's presence. I mean, being a shit is usually his default setting along with his signature scowl, but he was always extra scowly whenever Greer would make an appearance. I needed the deets before my curiosity killed me!

Austin and Greer had some baggage to unpack before they could get to their happy ending. Old hurts still lingered, but Greer had had enough and he was finally putting his plan in action to get him and Austin in the same space without him having a chance to escape. I was so happy when Austin finally agreed to hear Greer out. It was obvious the two harbored feelings for one another, but their past was still standing in their way. Thankfully as these are two grown men, they didn't dwell on everything that could have gone different once they cleared the air. No, these two decided to make up for lost time and boy did they ever!!

The remainder of the story had a much happier tone, and it paved the way for the sweetest HEA ever. Now, I cannot end this review without mentioning the teases we had concerning Dreamboat and his Commander. Those two have history, a very steamy and hot history, and I cannot wait to watch the self-professed man whore of the group fall next!

I've been waiting for Greer and Austin's story for a while and I was not disappointed!  Age Gap, Brother's Best Friend, long time grudge, forced proximity, pining, baggage,  it's all there!!!  I love that Austin stuck to his guns and made Greer work for his second chance and that Greer understood that he needed to jump through a few hoops to clear the air.  What I loved is that once things were settled, they dove right in and were all in!

Dreamboat is up next and I can't wait to see where this story goes... so many teases from this book make me ready to read all about his adventures with his Commander....
