The fifth Out and Kicking book is now out! Check out Soren and Levi's story in Kicking it for Convenience.
From the blurb:
The course of my life changed with a phone call. One minute I’m playing kickball and running my construction company. The next my grandfather's lawyer calls me to say I have to be married for a year to collect my vast inheritance.
Bad news when I'm as single as they come.
Collecting the money seemed a pipe dream… until I got a call that a sink at the Radiance Theater had sprung a leak. I hurried to the job site and, to my surprise, had an instant connection with the theater’s new owner. Soren needs money to finish renovations on the Radiance. I need a husband.
A temporary marriage was the answer to both our problems. Yet with skeptical family and friends doubting our relationship and a hurricane churning in the horizon, will our connection become more fact than fiction? Or will we break under the storm of reality?
Heather's Review:
Like the other books in this series, Kicking it for Convenience is a fairly low angst quick read. It features a strangers to lovers, fake marriage and a mutual love for restoring an old theatre... with a side of plumbing mishap and a bi-awakening.
The pacing is good, the story is fun and the read was quick and easy! This is a great book to add to your TBR when you want a read that lets you dive in and enjoy. It is part of a series and the other characters make cameos, but it can be read standalone.
Jacquie's Review:
Kicking it for Convenience is my favorite of the series just for the tropes alone. I love the fake relationship trope and a good bi-awakening. Put that together with great characters, some cameos from the rest of the series, and a very understanding family, and it was a winner.
Kicking it for Convenience is currently available as an e-book and can be read as part of your Kindle Unlimited Subscription
