Dump and Chase is a low-angst, slow burn, age gap queer hockey romance with a not-quite-as-confirmed-as-he-thought bachelor, a harried single father, plenty of nosy but well-meaning parishioners and teammates, tons of joyous song, and a harmonious happily ending.

He glanced up after failing to get one single button undone. “I have hams for hands,” he huffed in exasperation.
That made me laugh. “We’re a fine pair. Ham hands and sausage fingers,” I joked as I began fiddling with far too darn many buttons.
“Yeah, we are a fine pair.” The last button came free as his words sank in. I grabbed his face and pulled his mouth to mine. He grunted at the impact but was right there for the hungry kiss. My shirt hung open and his hands began to travel, fingertips finding my nipples amid the dark curls. I moaned into his mouth when he flicked them repeatedly.
His touch set me on fire. I yanked at his clothing, stripping him of his shirt and pants in record time, even with the slight bumbling problem with his belt that made me call leather goods cumbersome and annoying.
“Man, that was scorching,” he teased when I had him down to his briefs and I stood in my boxers, our hard cocks yearning to be free of the final cotton confines holding them. “You sure do have a gutter mouth.”
“Years of being a dad tames your vocabulary. Wait until I stub my toe in the middle of the night and wake you up with the blue words flowing out of me.”
He gave me a gentle shove that sent me falling onto my messy bed. “I like the sounds of being in bed with you all night.” He shucked his briefs and my mouth went dry.
