Northern Rainbow Romance Retreat

We're so excited to be part of the Northern Rainbow Romance Retreat here at the MMRR Blog. Heather has joined up with a great group of authors and bookish friends to put together this amazing plan!

This unique event will bring together published authors and PA's in the queer romance genre for a two day retreat, with the opportunity to write, collaborate, and learn from each other together and separately. VIP readers will then join for a personal weekend experience with their favourite authors. The retreat will also include a fabulous public signing event featuring all participating authors, with dedicated time for VIP readers.

Dates: October 2-6, 2024

Location: Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel & Conference Centre, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

All events will take place within the same facility. We have a group rate for hotel rooms, discounted parking, and airport shuttles.

What's the plan?

October 2nd & 3rd are writing retreat days for authors, aspiring authors and PA's - some people will probably arrive for the afternoon sessions only, but there will be things happening from 9 am onwards, including a sprint room... and that may continue through the evening, depending on what people want.

October 4th is VIP reader day - so reader-focused sessions including author meet ups and a big lunch for everyone.

October 5th is signing day - there will be two author sessions which will include a VIP only time and public signing times followed by a reception Saturday evening.

Sunday is a breakfast event and getaway day.

Authors ($400 CAD) Oct 2nd-6th

2 days of classes and group discussions
1 day of meet & greets with VIP readers
1 table at public signing event
Includes coffee breaks, 1 breakfast, 2 lunches, and an evening reception
