Kit Barrie does a brilliant job in bringing Zale & his Prince Consort to life in this retelling of Hades and his love Persephone. You have no issues differentiating between the cast. They do well in conveying the emotions of these men and their bond strengthening throughout their story.
Overall this was a fun story that even at novella length you felt the connection grow and had a good mix of emotions. It was fun to see the authors viewpoint on this classic story with a new twist to show how love can change in time and allows you to move forward on to the person you were always meant to end up with.
