From the blurb:

Reindeer games are so last century …

Silver

I've had a crush on Hartley Comet since he first graced my bakery counter, asking for Santa's pastry order. He's the bad boy reindeer shifter on Santa's team. His family banned the first Rudolph from playing reindeer games. Sure, that was over a hundred years ago, but the reputation holds. His family still mocks any fated pairs where the alpha's smaller than the omega. As an omega dragon shifter, only an alpha dragon or elemental being would be bigger than I am. To protect my heart, I hide my feelings.

I don't have a choice when Hart asks me to dance at the Halloween party. How can I resist when the interest is mutual? Afterward, I assume it's over, but he brings me presents and asks me on a date. How can I say no when he wants to be a better person? Then, Santa sends us on a mission to save Christmas. (He's a little overdramatic. We're saving his sweet tooth, but to him, sweets are everything!) We work well together, but is it enough?

Fate works in mysterious ways, but she wouldn't pair a sweet dragon omega with a mean alpha reindeer, would she?

Reindeer Flames is a male/male mpreg romance between versatile adults. Silver is an omega dragon with a heart of gold and a soft spot for bad boys who aren't that bad. Hart is an alpha reindeer haunted by his family's past wrongs and tired of hiding his attraction to the most attractive omega he's ever met. This book is packed with sweet baked goods, snarky banter, spicy romance, Christmas cheer, meggs, and cute babies!

Reindeer Flames is part of the multi-author gay romance mpreg shifter series, A Reindeer Mate for Christmas. Each book can be read as a standalone, but why stop at one when you can read them all!

Molly Otto's review:

Hart Comet is the Comet for Santa 30 and does the bakery runs to Santa 30's favorite bakery Gold & Silver. Silver and his sister Gold co own and run the bakery that Santa 30 loves and has daily runs to. Was cute to see their slowly getting to know one another vs after intimate bam together, nope time was needed for the bond to truly form.

Hart & Silver are so dang sweet together and Santa 30 is the best Santa. Loved seeing a dragon and reindeer pairing with the omega being the larger of the two. It's always nice to see not the normal roles in mpreg.

Totally cheered when Bopp was put into his place leading to rest of the family to see the error of their thinking. This had that right feel good Christmas feel mixed with a life lesson everyone should know. Great cast of supporting side characters, had me smiling from start to finish.

Angel's review:

If you like sweet romances full of sugary goodness and a dash of spice, this book is for you!

One of my favorite professions to read about is when a character is a chef or baker, and Silver is a baker who not only runs his own bakery with his sister, but he also makes cookies for Santa! All the descriptions of the variety of baked goods he created made me want to bake cookies and pastries of my own!

As for the romance part, I thought Silver and Hart were absolutely brilliant together! They had a bit of a rocky start due to horrible family members, but they got there in the end. I absolutely adore everything about this book! It's Christmassy, full of festive fun and joy, has a lovely cast of side characters, and the MC's themselves are just adorable. They are different in a lot of ways but that's part of what makes them work so well.

I thought the pacing was fantastic! Everything just felt natural and nothing felt rushed or forced. I could feel the connection these two men had with each other, although, they really should've listened to their Beasts earlier on.

I loved how Santa was not only playing matchmaker, realtor, and life advice giver, but he was also helping with curating new recipes for Silver and Gold's bakery as well. His character is so fun and full of jolly!

I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get into the festive spirit.
