Visions of You (Rubyville Vampires Book 4) by Silvana Falcon

Being a highly gifted seer is not as great as everyone seems to think. While Keegan tries to help his friends and even himself, some things are just unavoidable, especially if his death might come at the hands of his fated mate.

From the Visions of You blurb:

A vampire seer and a dragon shifter.

Fated mates, except one of them is fated to kill the other.

The moment Jaron lays eyes on Keegan, the vampire steals his breath away. Jaron needs to have him like he’s never needed to have anyone. The dragon in him agrees—that drop-dead gorgeous vampire is meant for him. The fact that his stuck-up high-society parents would have heart attacks if they saw Jaron with a vampire is only icing on the cake.

Jaron knows Keegan can feel it too: they are mates. So why is the vampire trying to brush him off?

Keegan has a rare gift: he can see the future. The very first vision he’s ever had, he saw himself dying at the hands of a dragon-shifter. When he meets Jaron in real life, though, he knows this dragon is more than just his killer. In a cruel twist of fate, Jaron is the one for him.

Keegan tries to resist him, but there is something about that smile that gets under his skin, that makes him want to be with his mate no matter the consequences.

But how can they change the future that awaits them?

Visions of You is a 74,000 words paranormal MM romance with a happy ending. Knowledge of other titles in the series is recommended for your enjoyment but not required.

SNik's review:

Fourth in series (Rubyville Vampires), best if read in order. Paranormal. Fated mates. Dual POV.

Knowing how he’s supposed to die haunts vampire seer Keegan, especially once he meets the dragon shifter meant to stake him and realizes they are fated mates. Jaron immediately is attracted to Keegan when they meet, and realizes that he wants nothing more than to complete their mate bond, but Keegan is holding back and manipulating the future may not work when it comes to fated mates.

I really enjoyed Jaron and Keegan knowing what the future might hold and still trying to fight against it, yearning for the good but unable to control the bad. Jaron and Keegan have all kinds of chemistry right away and plenty of steam, and Jaron’s absolute commitment to being with Keegan is beyond swoony. Their relationship building while there was danger seemed disjointed, but overall it was an entertaining story. If this is the series finale I am sad to see it end.
