Beachy Sweetheart (DKAG Summer Shorts) by Morgan Lysand

BEACHY SWEETHEART part of the DKAG summer shorts combined author universe. A daddy boy romance with a gray ace rep.

From the blurb:

At twenty-three, I may be young, but I know what I want, and that’s a Daddy. I have two full-time jobs helping my divorced parents with their separate businesses, which keeps me busy. As much as I love the challenge of working with my parents, there’s barely time for myself every day. Let alone Little time, but I try to make it to as many Little play days as possible at my favorite club. If only it wasn’t an hour away.

When I meet the Daddy of my dreams at the club, I run away after a night of perfection when everything falls apart in the end. I have no hope of seeing him again, but color me surprised when I find him at my family hotel two weeks later. He's within arm's reach and he's offering a month of exploring what it’d be like to have a Daddy all my own. What am I to do? Accept the offer obviously.

DKAG Summer Shorts is a collection of stories where Daddies and their Boys bring the heat in more ways than one. This sugary sweet series is guaranteed to get you in the mood for summer. Be sure to grab them all!

Molly Otto's review:

Morgan does what Morgan does best in writing a uniquely himself boy finding his perfect daddy. Trevor is an overworked boy with the stress of working two jobs for both his parents while never really having the true freedom of expressing himself. Andy is an overworked Daddy who has let his work struggles affect not only his physical but his emotional health. When they get a chance to meet up through a close-knit shared group of kinksters, it doesn't exactly go as planned. Fate steps in the way, and they are allowed another shot at slowly seeing who the other man truly is.

Trevor is a beautiful gray ace representation of a boy who needs a true connection before being able to take that next step. Andy shows how understanding and great he is for his boy by allowing them to work slowly to reach that next step. There is no pressure, just a beautiful, gradual build-up to intimacy. It is a well-balanced short story where you don't feel like something is missing at the end.
