Tattooed Heart (Tattooed Series, Book 1) by Elamy Pride; Narrated by Sion Hardd

Tattooed Heart is real life second chance romances with all the groveling. Where two men let life get in the way and now are working to get back to where they once were.

From the blurb:

RYAN

I’m in the best relationship of my life, which is ridiculous, because I'm absolutely miserable. My boyfriend of two years is a shark in the courtroom but more like a mythical creature at home, meaning he's never home. He doesn't exist here anymore. After months of him choosing to work late into the night, cancel our plans or simply not show up. I find my backbone and leave. I will not stay in another neglectful relationship or ignore the red flags any longer.
I’m DONE, It's OVER.

DREW

After years of hard work and months of little sleep, I finally became a partner at Novak & Smith Law. I reached my goal but what I had missed along the way, was how miserable I was making the love of my life. Now he's left me. I’ve won the big case, I’ve won my dream promotion, now I need to win back MY MAN.

Tattooed Heart is and MM romance story of second chances. With hilarious family group chats. Friends that become a found family and one Master plan of Wooing. Follow Drew and Ryan as they fall back in love while remembering how they got there in the first place.

Lesetiger's review:

Both the author and the narrator were new to me, so I was very excited.

Drew and Ryan's relationship is at an end, at least from Ryan's point of view. Drew has feelings, but he has a lot of work to do if he wants to achieve his professional goals. But his private life falls by the wayside.
I could understand both sides very well. I immediately liked Ryan, but I had some problems with Drew because he didn't show up on an important day for Ryan.

The story is written alternately from Drew's and Ryan's point of view and it jumps back and forth between the present and the past from time to time. That basically worked, I got used to it at some point, but you always had to pay attention.

What I thought was great was how Drew fought for their relationship. Look forward to a happy ending and I loved the cute puppies!

Sion Hardd is a new narrator for me and I thought he did a great job narrating this book. I was able to distinguish the two characters well and he also conveyed the emotions very well. I could feel Ryan's excitement directly.
