If you are an avid fan of the Villainous Things series by C. Rochelle, then you absolutely cannot miss this collection of shorts with our favorite Rabble members!
From the Villainous All the Way blurb:
A sweet n spicy collection of bonus tales, first shared on Pa*tre*on and featuring the guys and gals (and nonbinary aliens) from the superhero x villain MM+ (& FF!) romance series - Villainous Things (along with the MCs of the Villains in Space spin-off series)!
Simon Says: It is required that you read Villainous Things 1-5 first, and highly recommended that you also read Earth Boys Are Easy (Villainous Things, book 4.5 & Villains in Space, book 1), before tackling this bonus collection! Otherwise, you may miss some important backstory… (AND GET SPOILERS YOU MAY NOT WANT!)
The bonus collection contains:
- A Xander & Butch Villainous Xmas Special - The boys first Christmas after Himbos, where Xaddy introduces his baby to the annual cutthroat Suarez White Elephant gift exchange, and Butch makes a near-fatal mistake by misunderstanding the rules.
- A Xander & Butch Valentine's Special - Their first V-Day after Himbos, where the often-asked reader question is FINALLY answered with an extra graphic explanation of what exactly "the thing with the fried chicken" is. Hint: It's SPICY.
- A Wolfy & Simon Wedding/Kidn@pp!ng Special - Occurring immediately after the Yes Sir, Sorry Sir bonus epilogue from Gentlemen, and starring Queen Simon as he makes an executive decision his loyal dog had better agree to OR SO HELP HIM!
- A Balty & Zion (and Rabble*) Halloween Special - After the events of POFAH, Xanny opens the West Coast Lycra and Lace franchise and throws a costume party to celebrate. Per usual, this results in an unnecessarily competitive costume contest between our supes. Also per usual, there's some prim@l play.
- A Twins (mostly Dre, but open door, bro) & Theo Xmas Special - Following Multi-Vers, it's our chaotic alien's turn to be introduced to the White Elephant gift exchange. He nearly ruins it, to no one's surprise. Also to no one's surprise, there's more primal.
- A Micah & Ziggy Not-Quite Halloween Special - After Rabble: End Game, Our runaway space bride, Micah, decides to stick around to celebrate his February birthday with a Halloween-style costume party. Again, to no one's surprise, everyone gets competitive, the horny glo worms are in full effect, and Ziggy plays to win.
- A Vi & Kai Valentine's Special - Also following End Game (and apparently too hot for the Pates...), Wolfy lives up to his "Bazillionaire Goth Mother Hen" reputation by taking Kai shopping for the perfect present for his sister. But what does a princess buy her Mommy? And will this present be put to immediate use? (Yes)
- An Erich & Luca Novella (20k) - Now that everyone has survived the forced proximity of Super Gay Island during End Game, our German DJ normie, Erich (first introduced in Gentlemen) decides to shoot his shot and invite his superpowered obsession (who happens to be his bestie Wolfy's "dad" - oops!) to ski in the Alps. But oh, nooooo - they're snowed in! Sounds like the perfect opportunity to discover if Luca feels the same...
The intro to each tale will feature specific CW/TWs, with a full list at c-rochelle [dot] com.
PLEASE NOTE: This collection will NOT be available in Kindle Unlimited (KU), as the content will remain on Pates and be available in the author's shop as an ebook (with bonus art), a signed paperback, AND a Pates-exclusive hardcover with silver foil & full-color art inside.

I've read a few of these shorts before and reading them and the new ones reminded me once again how much I love this series!! Every single couple is unhinged in their own ways, yet they work perfectly together. One thing that is so amazing about these books is that even though it is quite OOT and full of hilarious antics, there is still plenty of feels. There is a major theme of found family throughout the entire series. I don't think a single supe or normie we have met could claim to have "normal" parents or a loving upbringing. That leads to some pretty f*cked up adults, but those same adults have formed themselves a group of people who would do anything to protect the family they consider theirs. That goes triple for Goth Mother hen Wolfy.

Now onto the Luca and Erich novella that was included at the end. It was quite adorable how freaking clueless Luca was when it came to his human. He wanted to posses him, but then he also wanted to spoil and take care of him too. It was like there were two sides of Luca battling each other at all times. I respected Erich and his request that Luca be up front with him. Erich is a normie. He may be aware of many things when it comes to supes and how they interact, but keeping things close to the vest when it concerns him isn't something that is going to work for a regular human in a romantic relationship.
The way the author portrayed the connection between Luca and Erich was incredibly unique and interesting to me. As we know, our alien babes rely on their resonance when it comes to their mates and family, and I wondered if this would follow the same route as it did for Micah and Zig with the harp. It was similar, yet Erich put his own twist on it without even realizing it, which made it more fun. You'll understand when you read it. It was also cool how Erich could see emotions as colors and how it gave him a bit of a more even playing field with Luca who could taste emotions with his tendrils. I'm not even going to get into the emotional moment with Erich and Wolfy because it honestly broke my heart. All in all, if you are a fan of the Villainous Things series then you definitely can't miss out on this collection of shorts and novella!
GreenwingReads review:
What better way to end the year than with a collection of mini stories from one of the most fun, steamy, schmoopy fictional worlds to ever exist!
This collection features mini-fics of all the couples from everyone's favorite chaotic villainous family, the Suarez clan. It's so fun to catch up with the couples and revisit those dynamics. C is also a master at slipping in cameos of other family members and side characters.
The stories are the perfect length for a quick read when you don't have a lot of time but want a complete story. Like the literary equivalent of a fun-sized candy bar.
If that wasn't enough to catch your interest (it should be though), there is also a novella that's perfect for the winter season full of fun tropes including best friend's dad, age-gap, snowed in, and more.
Definitely check out the rest of the series first before diving into this collection, including the novella, to avoid spoilers. But also definitely treat yourself to this before saying so long to 2024.
Villainous All the Way is currently available as an e-book and paperback
