Felix (Elite 8 Studios Book 6) by Emmy Sanders

Emil feels unseen by his family. His achievements and plans doesn't seem as important as his siblings. Christian has his life without a clear plan. An event brings these guys together and involves a lot of changes to both of their lives

From the blurb:

What more could an exhibitionist want than a willing voyeur right next door?

Emil
I like being watched. I’m not ashamed of it, nor my job at Elite 8 Studios where fans know me as Felix. But when my newest costar turns out to be the very same neighbor I’ve been giving private shows to through the window, I’m thrown for a loop.

Christian is gorgeous—a toppy femboy with a love of skirts and belly chains. He’s every bit the Vixen his moniker would suggest. Yet, for whatever reason, he seems enamored with me. We’re quickly thrown together to pilot a series of live stream videos, and our chemistry is off the charts.

But when Christian starts coming over, cuddling with me on the couch and bringing food for my hermit crab, I know I’m in trouble.

Christian may be my coworker, but before that, he was my voyeur. And my friend. He knows me in a way so few others do, but intimacy for me is complicated.

Can I trust Christian with my heart? Or is mixing business, pleasure, and love bound to blow up in my face?

Felix is a neighbors-to-coworkers-to-more romance between a nerdy, bespectacled exhibitionist and his smitten voyeur. There’s scorching fun in front of the cameras, two mouthy performers, sweet dates and adorable hermit crabs, friends who show up when you need them, and one very HEA. It’s book six in the Elite 8 Studios series but can be read as a standalone.

Reed Kaye's review:

Two such dissimilar guys both with unlike personalities and different family issues.

Felix (Emil) is in college while also working at Elite 8 Studios. He has this hidden desire to be a total exhibitionist.

When he is home alone and decides to relax he finds someone is watching him.

Christian has had plenty of tragedy in his life. He has a few personality traits that aren't to everyone's taste. Glancing out of his window he finds a sight he doesn’t expect. He starts this sort of relationship with Emil until they come face to face. This is when everything in both of their lives changes.

I love these characters and especially Christian. This guy is more than understanding.

The secondary characters added a lot to the story.

I really hated to see this story end.

Angel's review:

While I am sad to see this amazing series come to an end, I absolutely loved this book! Felix and Christian are just so great together, not to mention they have excellent chemistry!

The way these two men meet is really quite interesting, I liked the concept of it being a bit of a mystery as to who was the one watching Felix. I LOVED the dynamic between these two, they each have scars from people in their past, and they help each other heal from those wounds. The scene where Felix's sister tells him how great of a brother and person he is made me cry. It was full of emotion and really made that moment immensely special, especially because he had just finished standing up for himself to his parents.

The Elite 8 Studios is a perfect example of found family. The men who are apart of that studio, even those who are now retired, aren't related by blood, but they most definitely are family. I found all of those characters to be really beautiful, they created excellent dialogue, and helped drive home that they are all family.

What I really loved, and what made me become enamored with Christian's character is his love for fashion. He likes wearing the clothes he makes, and he's not ashamed of it. I think it's so important for a character such as Christian's to exist in this world, to give those who might like the same things or feel the same way, know that they aren't alone. And it's okay to like what you like and to not be ashamed of it. He also won me over with how supportive he was of Felix, he was always cheering him on and providing support and encouragement throughout the story. I also loved all the unique surprises he had planned for Felix, you could really feel the love unfold within the pages of this book.

This series in general is packed full of steam, but this one?!? It's on fire!! If you read this in a public place, proceed with caution, that's all I'm going to say. 🔥🔥

I was truly blown away by this book, these terrific characters, and this superb series that was beautifully created by this author. I can't wait to see what Emmy writes next!

Heather's Review:

I love a good voyeur story and I love how Emmy Sanders creates not only a perfect voyeur situation, but also engineers a meet cute and a co-workers to lovers trope out of the same couple!  I also love that Felix (Emil) has so much more going on than his Elite 8 studio work, making his work there completely by choice!

In terms of Christian, I love his passion for fashion and his courage to create outside the binary clothing and how the author weaves this into the storyline!

I've loved every single one of the Elite 8 Studios books, but honestly I think this one is my new favourite!
