This book is the perfect balance of professional hockey player, frat humour and sweetness... in short it's another Pucking Disaster Masterpiece!
This book is a quintessential Eden and Saxon romp with lots of heat, lots of sweet and lots of laughs, and especially, lots of dirty talk! Plus cameos from the Queer Collective and Gabe's roommates! I also appreciate that they didn't fall into the fallen firefighter trap...
I can't wait to see where the next books take us - both in the Puckboys world and Saxon's Accidental Love series! Fingers crossed for more potential crossovers - maybe with some of Erin's Mike Bravo guys???

When we met Gabe in Saxon's The Husband Hoax I thought we got a good feel for him as a person. And we did, in that he's a man with a kind heart who cares deeply. What I didn't realize was just how dirty that man's mouth can get in the bedroom. I mean I'm not complaining, and neither of course was Aleks.
"Holy fuck. Those words. His mouth is filthy, and I love it."
See what I mean? Speaking of Aleks I absolutely adored him. As one of the newer recruits to the Queer Collective I was looking forward to getting to know him better. He still a cocky shit like most of the hockey players, but he's also incredibly sweet. He isn't over the top crazy like Ezra, nor is he broody AF like Asher. He's more down to earth I guess you could say. It was actually super cute reading about him and Gabe going on dates and slowly falling for one another without even meaning to. I honestly just loved them together. And their meet cute? Hands down the funniest part of the book. You'll understand when you read it. I promise.
Now onto the new faces. I'm excited we are going to get Sanden's story. Something is up with him and the paramedic. There is a story there and I am guessing we are going to get it with his book. Then there's Quinn and Ayri, both Queer Collective members. I'm extremely curious about why Quinn is growing a hideous mustache, so much so that I really hope he's the next member to get a book. It's commented on more than once in this story and now all I can picture is the next Puckboys having a shirtless dude on the cover with some massive blonde porn stache you can't look away from. Either way, I'll be reading it!

This book was so much fun! I saw other reviewers say that this book was their favorite in the Puckboys series, and I couldn't agree more. This book was light and with some minimal angst, but I felt like I could relate to the characters more.
Aleks recently got divorced and he's not like Oscar he's looking for a relationship and he's pan-sexual so he's drawn more towards personality. I feel like I'm the same way so I really related to him. Gabe was also a fun and lovable character. I loved his dirty mouth and the way he brought laughter and light to intimacy.
Gabe and Aleks relationship felt genuine and the fact that both had demanding work schedules made the time they spent together more meaningful.
This book I have to say is my favorite in the series. I can see myself in the main characters and I love the way their relationship progressed.
