BEDTIMES STORIES is a daddy boy online to real life romance. It all starts in a chatroom, a place where a little can feel safe. Online becomes text messages and group chats with friends. Before he knows it Oren is leaving his safety bubble for camp.
From the blurb:
Rules don’t stand a chance against chemistry this hot.
Oren never planned on finding a Daddy online. It started with harmless messages and a safe voice in the dark. Someone to tell him he’s good, to give him rules that make the world feel less scary. But the more Keane guides him, the more Oren craves.
Keane promised to take things slow, but Oren’s shy confessions and breathless gratitude are pure temptation. What began as simple guidance becomes late-night conversations, lingering thoughts, and a dangerous need to see the boy behind the screen.
When Oren’s friends drag him to a weekend retreat, Keane shows up too. One look, one soft “Daddy,” and every line they swore not to cross feels paper-thin.
Oren’s heart says trust him. Keane’s instincts say protect him. Their desire wants to burn the rules to ash.
Molly Otto's review:
What starts with a sweet online daddy boy relationship becomes real when they get to meet in person. There were a lot of fun moments between these two that allowed them to build a foundation before turning their relationship to real life. You understand the hesitation and why this needed to be done the way it was for these two to be able to work and get past their issues. The dichotomy of Oren made him a fun little where depending on his mood is how his writing and personality shows. Keane is a great daddy in allowing all sides of his boy to shine fully. Overall a well done daddy boy and nice change of pace from what we all know and enjoy from this author.
Lori C's review:
Oren is anxious and afraid he’s unlovable. It only takes one man to shatter his self confidence. But that isn’t all that the horrible man did.
Keane is a Daddy. He’s been out of the scene for awhile, but something about Oren lights him up. This shy boy brings him back to life and all he wants to do is keep him safe. When Vince comes back to hurt Oren, will Keane be enough to protect him?
I choose some books based on name recognition of the author, others due to blurbs, or maybe the cover catches my attention. For me, it was the first two. Raquel Riley equals a good read in my mind. The blurb sealed the deal. Their chemistry is sparking from the very beginning. The nervous way Oren reacted to Keane showed just how much he had hope for a Daddy/little relationship. I wasn’t expecting the ex to make a play and was caught off guard by his deviance. I loved the group of littles that Oren introduced us to. Their excitement and friendship added a layer of joy to the story. Keane has my heart for his protective instincts. Oren though, he goes down as the bravest boy! Loved it and have to look at the author’s backlist to see if there are stories I’ve missed.
