Ink & Vows (Clair de la Lune Book Six) by Alexa Piper

In the 6th installment of this AU series, it's time for the entire town of Clair de la Lune to join together and celebrate the union of our favorite couple!

From the blurb:

It’s just a wedding and not really that big a deal.

Soyer has gotten what he wants. Sort of. Amory is about to be his, and it looks like they’re just going to have a few quiet hours before getting married. But nothing is ever that simple when you move to a small town with strange small-town customs and then decide to marry their most eligible artist.

Of course, there’s Amory’s best friend Elias, who takes the wedding quite seriously. Soyer didn’t sign up for any of it, but oddly, he finds he doesn’t mind all that much either.

Ink & Vows follows the events of the previous books in the series, which should be read in order.

I will never not love Soyer and Amory in whatever setting or form we get them. It has been some time since we visited this AU of our favorite sweet couple. It took me a bit to change the gears in my brain to remember that nothing supernatural is going on, regardless of whether Elias is exactly the same entertaining guy human or vampire. Speaking of, I need to know where that man got his white light up Christmas onesie. Knowing him, he had it specially made for himself. It just sounded so cozy and festive!

I enjoyed seeing Soyer so settled in the town and how happy that made Amory. Though Amory is still sweet and can be a little shy, he's much more mischievous in this version. He's also such a sensitive romantic and it made me smile every time Soyer would fuss over him. It was just so cute!!

Another fun part of this AU is seeing all the different jobs each of the side characters work. From Dwayne as the town sheriff to Simeon owning the cafe. Everyone we love plays a part and somehow it still all fits. And since Soyer and Amory pledge their vows to one another in this installment, I think they would also agree.
