I've been eagerly waiting for Will's book ever since he was introduced in the first book, and his story was well worth the wait!
From the blurb:
With fear nipping at his heels, Will escapes the shifters his own pack sold him to. But being free from his dark past comes with new challenges. Will is a witch wolf, a rare werewolf who can do magic. He should have been taught how, but he wasn’t, and now, he has to start from the very beginning.
On his journey away from the dark claws of the past toward a brighter future, Will meets friends and chosen family who will help him with those who hurt him, and maybe he can even learn to trust and love on his way to healing.
Werewolf in Love is a standalone that follows Will, a werewolf who is recovering from the hurts of a dark past. It’s not necessary to have read the previous books in the series to follow this story, but some of the characters are recurring.
Angel's review:
Will and Sage are such sweethearts, I love how they have a good push and pull relationship dynamic. They get to know each other gradually without things feeling forced or rushed, which I really appreciate.
All of the horrific things Will has been through absolutely broke my heart, I was so sad for him, he just wanted to be loved and accepted and to be treated fairly but instead he has been used and ab#s3d. While Peter may not be the most emotionally expressive character, you can tell the fondness he has for both Will and Sage. Will stumbled upon Peter's door looking for help escaping his nightmare, and he ended up with so much more than he could of ever wished for.
I also want to say that I thoroughly enjoyed the scenes where Sage was reaching Will magic spells, especially when they were continuing each other's spell with the cup of tea. I just found those scenes to add levity to the story as a whole and it help provide such a comedic dialogue.
All in all I loved how Will learned to use and embrace his magic and himself, he truly became the WitchWolf, and he found his mate in Sage, the witch who taught him how to use magic.
Werewolf in Love is currently available as an e-book, hardcover and paperback
