Unsettled is the continuation of the Crimson Bonds series combining the two authors mafia worlds.
From the blurb:
Pain.
Trapped in an endless loop of boredom and cruel taunts, Mafia Bosses Allesandro Martelli and Cristian Amato are ready to show why they are amongst the most feared in the region. Chained and tormented they may be, but neither man is helpless, and they refuse to wait for their knights in blood-soaked armor to rescue them. Even if it means adding a few more scars to their collection.
Trust.
The lines between the Martelli and Amato Families are blurred, with bonds being formed and dissolved amongst the chaos of losing their Bosses—the glue that holds them together. But if there’s one thing both Families have learned, it’s that they’re stronger together than they ever have been apart, and the newly found trust and loyalty they have with each other may be the difference between success or failure.
Hope.
With the return of their Bosses in sight, the Families throw all they have into their rescue efforts. But when their enemy won’t let any of them go unscathed, the fallout proves to have dire consequences…
Unsettled is book 3 in the Crimson Bonds series and ends on a cliffhanger. All books in this series must be read in order. This is a dark MM and MMM+ story with various pairings and relationships. Please see inside for the full list of TWs.
This is an Amato Family (All's Fair Series by Abrianna Denae) and Martelli Family (Vendetta series by Leigh Kenzie) crossover. This is not a standalone story. At least one of the series, Vendetta or All’s Fair, needs to be read first to truly understand the dynamics of this story.
Molly Otto's review:
The two families continue to grow closer, and their lives weave together in ways I don't see being broken even if or when they bring their bosses home. Lio & Roman in this chaos show their men how strong they truly are even with their world crumbling around them and why they were the right choice to lead in the Bosses abscense. They fight to find their bosses throughout while doing everything in their power to find out how anyone could know all they do. When they finally are able to put a plan in place to rescue the bosses, all hell breaks loose in the most masterful way possible, leaving us on the edge until the next installment.
As this series progresses, we see how well these two authors truly play off one another. When certain perspectives are being given, I can honestly say I question who is doing the writing. Showing us as new and old readers to these authors what a true co-write should be.
