Gabbi Grey's YA romance Didn't See You Coming is a light, fluffy high school romance.
From the blurb:
Holden and Peyton don't expect much from senior year. He probably won't manage to date any guys. She'll still pine over Juliette, the beautiful and unattainable cheerleader. But when they step between class bullies and Oliver, a super-hot transfer student, their year starts to go off the rails.
As a star football player, Oliver hadn't anticipated trouble. Turns out Pinedale High not only comes with bullies but with new friends, plus the ghost of a Civil War soldier and a shy naked guy in the library. Between the living and the dead, senior year is about to get interesting.
Lesetiger's review:
I've read many books by this author, but this one is new because it's a young adult book. That was unusual, but not bad.

The writing style is, as always, wonderful and the story reads in a light and fluffy way. I liked the characters, especially I thought the chemistry between Holden and Payton was just great.
Besides the typical high school themes and what it means to be gay and stand by your beliefs, you'll find magic and a bit of the paranormal. The ghosts were pretty interesting. It was fun to witness the strong friendship between Holden and Peyton.
I enjoyed this audiobook read by Michael Ferraiuolo. He did a fantastic job as always, giving each character a distinct voice and it was a pleasure to listen to him bring the story to life!
Didn't See You Coming is currently available as an audiobook, e-book and paperback
