A chronically unemployed high school dropout, living with my overprotective mum at the age of 25, I didn’t think things could get much worse.

Everything is massively, catastrophically, irrevocably screwed. I cannot overstate how screwed we all are. This is a disaster from start to end and back again.
So yes, maybe I’m a necromancer, and yes, maybe I slightly, kind of, very much opened a gateway for spirits to enter my home/this astral plane. But I did NOT give permission for whatever that THING is to cross over. Or to bring with it whatever THAT is.
But it’s okay. Help is at hand. I’ve called The ExorSquad, and they’re going to put these spirits back in their bottle. Or so they say.
The problem is, one of these guys looks incredibly dodgy. And the other? Very cute, very sweet, and very, very naive. So despite the catastrophe that awaits, I can’t help but keep an eye on him, while also trying to hold this evil at bay, while also trying not to let on to either of them that this is all my fault.
Because if they find out, and if I go out of business, the consequences could be worse than even The Exorsquad could imagine.

Part of a multi-author series (ExorSquad), but can be read as a standalone. Paranormal. Close proximity. Hurt/comfort. Found family. Slow burn. Dual POV.
Liam needs a job and maybe he can get paid “ghost busting” if he can last long enough. But Archer’s house really does have a lot of ghosts, and something in the attic that the secret necromancer can’t deal with alone, so even though Archer wants to protect Liam there seems to be a lot of death surrounding them.
This book had so many terrific aspects, the characters with lonely backgrounds, the secondary cast of coworkers and ghosts that provided comic relief at times, a sense of danger that really amped up the suspense, and the overall arc of the story where fate might have had a little to do with everything. Both Archer and Liam are likable, want to help, and are irresistibly drawn to each other. This was a really entertaining read with some unexpected twists and the shared world with interesting characters has been a delight. I really enjoyed the ending of this one. It has a fantastic HEA.

Dead Vengeance is the second book in the highly anticipated ExorSquad series, and I, for one, am loving this series so much!!
This story is about Archer, Liam, and a collection of ghosts that have attached themselves to Archer and his house. This book was fantastic! The world building describing Archer's house was intricate, as was all the historical details surrounding each of the ghosts, in addition to the historical component of what the 'thing' in the attic ended up being. Everything was just written so well and in a way that just made me happy to be reading the book and to discover more about thrm.
There are so many unexpected twists and turns that I loved discovering as I was reading, it was so fun, (and shocking) unraveling those secrets, but wow, such an incredible book! The characters themselves were lovely, I adored Archer and Liam both in different ways. Each of them stand out in their own ways but when they are together they just have such dynamic chemistry that you can feel through the page.
Now, I can't leave a review for this book without talking about the other ghosts. The primary one being Simon, the resident trouble maker who has a slightly murderous streak. His character surprised me as did Fabian's! I wasn't expecting that to turn out the way it did but I loved it even more because it surprised me.
Overall, a truly wonderful book with an extraordinary ending, and I cannot wait to read the next one!
