Five to Love Him is nothing like you have ever read before. If you've read the Pheonix Immortal series you have an idea about what a Hive is, but that is nothing compared to what it's like having a Hive for mate!
From the blurb:
Leopold has been searching for the supernatural for most of his life. What he finds is not as mystical as he first thought. There are classes and tests, and more bureaucracy than wonder.
Yet, nothing could have prepared Leopold for finding a supernatural mate, a mate unlike any other.
A hive is strong, the stronger the bigger they are. When they see Leopold and know him to be theirs, the hive comes to realize that they will need all of their strength, as much of it as their five bodies allow. After all, no matter how many parts a hive is made up of, they are one consciousness and few can match that.
Content Warning: Past abuse and captivity.

Just finished and my first thoughts are WHERE CAN I FIND MYSELF A HIVE TO DATE!!? I mean seriously! Having not one, but 5 bodies that can move independently from one another and their sole focus is to take care of their mate in any way he needs. For example: one of the Hive could be giving you a back massage, while another one cooks dinner. Then two more could be out picking up dessert, while one is working at their job. Just like Leo, I felt it would be intimidating at first. But also, like Leo, I soon saw the merit in falling in love with such an interesting supernatural being.
I loved how the Hive was so sweet to Leo. They wanted to pamper him whenever they could. This was tough for someone like Leo who was used to taking care of himself. They also never got angry when Leo would refer to them as multiple persons. Knowing he was a human new to being in the know, they just calmly explained again how someone singular like Leo needed to understand that they were one being made up of five separate bodies. It took a bit of getting used to in the reading, but it wasn't too confusing to understand.
Leo was a bit of a grump at first, but he started to soften after being with his mate. It was obvious he couldn't hold himself back from falling for the Hive. They were just too sweet and protective. It didn't surprise me that Leo was so fiercely protective of them right back when it came down to it.
I enjoyed the Hive meeting the previous Hive we knew from the Moonlight Cherries series. I mistakenly thought that this books' Hive was one and the same, so their meeting helped to clarify that for me. I'm also very curious about Leo's bestie and his roommate. I hope those two will get a book in the future because it was getting hard to watch how oblivious they were. And with how much the topic of their feelings for one another came up, it makes me excited to think they get their own HEA eventually!
