Fey Dominion (Fey Lords Book 2) by S. Rodman

Is it crazy to fall for the fey lord that takes him as a plaything? Blake is supposed to be helping the human resistance fight the fey, but he can't seem to say no to Prince Mabon as the beautiful fey slowly turns his lust to love.

From the Fey Dominion blurb:

He is a fey prince. A ruler of the race that conquered Earth.
I’m a leader of the Resistance.

There can never be anything between us.

I’m lucky he didn’t kill me when he caught me snooping outside the palace, but then again, Prince Mabon Y Mabinogi is unlike anyone I’ve ever met.

His decisions don’t make sense.

He is beautiful.

Demanding.

Loud and dramatic.

He loves sparkly things and pretty things.

And keeping me as his pet.

I’ll play along for now. For the sake of the Resistance and the intelligence I can gather.

But as soon as I can escape his bed, I’m gone.

There is no reason to stay.

No reason to take him with me.

Is there?

Fey Dominion contains a bratty & bossy fey prince. His beefcake of a human, captor/captive, enemies to lovers, bi-awaking and piercings.

Happily ever after is guaranteed.

Each book in the new Fey Lords series follows a different couple. This means each book can be enjoyed as a standalone.

SNik's review:

Second in series (Fey Lords), best if read in order due to the previous world building. Paranormal fantasy. Forced proximity. Captor/Captive. Single POV.

Once again a human is taken as a captive pet. This time Blake, a member of the human resistance, catches the eye of Prince Mabon and becomes the plaything of a fey lord. Blake is in the dark for most of the book regarding fey customs and so his slow turn to caring for Mabon was harder to explain, especially since we do not get a real good sense of Mabon’s feelings since the story is entirely from Blake’s POV.

However, as always Rodman brings the high heat and the irresistible attraction between the two main characters so it is easy to go along with their lust that becomes love story. Both Blake and Mabon are likable characters, Blake with his himbo cinnamon roll personality and Mabon being bossy, bratty, brash, but underneath it still innocently yearning to be loved. I appreciated that Blake tried to stay true to his mission but in the end was happy to give Mabon his allegiance and love.
