This was an explosive start for a new multi-author series and hopefully a great layout for what lies ahead. The suspense mixed with some great content from our first season with the Troopers was really fun and nail biting at times. Though I was a little confused initially regarding Callum’s sexuality, but that was my first impression of him. Addison was an inspirational man and a supportive one, too! The side characters were very much likable, even if the majority of them were family.
It’s not very often we get two quarterbacks together, but these two definitely complimented each other. When Addison was injured, Callum stepped in with ease. Their dynamic was incredible, not to mention their chemistry being fiercely hot! Learning how they navigated through their respective careers with the addition of coming out was impeccable! And, the suspense with Addison’s past coming back to haunt them was absolute brilliance! I cannot wait to continue with the series!!
