Third in series (Bad Boy Billionaires), can be read as a standalone, but might be more fun to read in order. Second chance. Lovers to adversaries to lovers. Hurt/comfort. Light BDSM. Forced proximity. Dual POV.

Matteo betrayed Carter and their SEAL team a year ago, whatever they had together was destroyed by Matteo’s shooting of Carter and joining a Colombian cartel. However, Carter now has Matteo as his prisoner, and he wants to punish him, but along with his inability to truly hate Matteo secrets come out that throw everything for a loop. 

This story was high heat from the start to finish, with some underlying emotional sharing which made you root for Carter and Matteo to find their HEA. There was plenty of power exchange between them, both Carter and Matteo struggling to verbalize their love, but when they eventually got to that point it was swoony. A quick and entertaining read.
