Fourth in series (Never Have I Ever), but can be read as a standalone. Former childhood friends to enemies to lovers. Slow burn. Dual POV.
College student and part time cam boy Eli certainly doesn’t expect his new landlord/property manager to be the childhood friend that left him behind and ruined his brother’s life. West is desperate to rekindle his friendship with Eli, guilt over the past doesn’t dampen his protectiveness toward Eli, nor his absolute attraction to him.
I enjoyed the slow return of the friendship and the slow build of romantic feelings before anything spicy happens. West struggles under his father’s expectations, and Eli has his own personal issues that weigh him down from his past and they end up strengthening each other as the relationship grows.
Something about the way Willow Dixon writes characters with difficult backgrounds that don’t instantly disappear but are healed a little by their special person is just so entertaining, as well as their steamy interactions that occur with emotional ties.
Sad to see this series end, but they all get a nice HEA.

This Never Have I Ever story is bittersweet, because it's the last roommate finding love and the end of the series... and because of that, Willow Dixon takes us on a slowly building journey - with an enemies to lovers, childhood friends story that helps to clear up some of the reasons that Eli is who he is and why he's been the most mysterious housemate...
I love the camboy/voyeur aspect to this story and how West supports Eli's camming and they use it in their relationship. It makes for some very steamy scenes... I also appreciate the slow burn of the romance and how West waits for Eli to fully embrace each element of their relationship.
The epilogue was a lovely send off to the entire series and I'm excited to see where the spin-off series goes!

About the Author
What can I say about myself? It’s kind of like being the new kid in school and being asked to tell everyone a bit about yourself. Anyone else forget everything they’ve ever liked, thought of, and even their name in those moments?
A few facts about me; I’m a veteran, I’m Canadian, and I love books! I’ve been writing my own stories since I was eight and wrote my first novel at sixteen. I’m the first to admit those attempts weren’t my best work, but they started me on a journey of creating stories that has led me to fulfilling my dream of becoming an author. I’ve written and published in several genres under different names, but MM is by far my favorite, and I’m so happy to be able to share my stories with people today.
