This is a set of two books that takes place in the same quaint and magical town.
The Fairy shop was about Nate and his daughter Delly, who is afraid of big men and monsters. She had her fears before but Felly's mom's boyfriend is big and scary and shouts a lot. Which is why she is now scared of bigger men. Nate doesn't know what to do or how to help. Until they visit the Fairy shop and magical things happen!
Delly finds her magical wand and grows courage and Nate finds a sweet, creative and magical man to spend his time with. Christmas magic is real!
The Fairy Dance is the second book in this collection. It's about Jed who is a janitor, and who lives alone with his dog in a house he has fixed up himself. It's also about Henri, who's a dancer that's temporarily in town for a play.
These two men meet at the local bar in town, and from there they have a one-night-stand that turns into a couple of days instead of one night. These two were well written and they fit well together, but I didn't enjoy this story as much as I enjoyed The Fairy Shop. Still good, I just didn't love these two as much. I really enjoyed Jed's dog, he's so sweet!
