Sweet, swoony and so amazing! Budding Attraction is one of those books that just feels like a warm hug as you get to know the characters... and Orson and Ford are characters you definitely want to get to know!
Not only do you get the budding attraction between the florist and the mechanic, you get Saxon James' signature snark and banter AND running commentary from the DMC!
This book benefits from being read in order, so you know the back histories of the men giving advice, but if you're just looking to read a sweet and steamy bi-awakening with flirty banter and not too much angst or drama, you can easily read it standalone.

Budding Attraction is just one of those sweet and swoony romances. Orson and Ford totally stole my heart right from the beginning. Their flirty banter was so much fun and when they finally took the first step into the physical just wow! 🔥 Nothing hotter than an experienced Ford showing Orson all the pleasures that come with being with a man!
Both Orson and Ford showed their ages in the fact they were pretty mature about the whole aspect of their growing relationship. They may have been nervous to talk about things like feelings at first, but they always pushed themselves to do it. Orson was also very straightforward and honest which I appreciated. No unnecessary drama. Their HEA was just perfect for the two of them.
As usual the DMC chats were a highlight. Gotta love that, despite all the sometimes weird advice, it all came from a place of caring for their friend. We learn some new things about Art which make me love him even more than I already did. I cannot wait for his book which I am pretty sure includes a young and supposedly straight bartending employee. I also have a pretty good idea about Keller's future love interest after some surprises and that one seems like it will definitely cause a stir. Molly, a new side character, sort of burrowed his way into my heart during the story and I hope he scores a DMC member of his own. I'm excited to find out which member is next!
