A dragon historian is invited to Dragon's Ending the seat of the Bedwyr family to review their historical records. However, Ben has been warned to not anger the head of the family, nor get his head turned by the heir, Dominic. But, both Ben and Dominic can't seem to avoid falling.

Tasked with going through the Bedwyr family records, Ben arrives at Dragon’s Ending with warnings not to anger the head of the family and not get involved with his heir. Dominic is intrigued by the historian in his territory, and finds himself aiding Ben with his research and surprisingly, falling for him.
Granted it’s been a while since the last Wings Over Albion book, but getting back to this world of dragons and Camelot legends was easy and fun. I enjoyed that Ben was not immediately interested in Dominic until he saw hints of Dominic’s personality beneath the arrogant, misbehaving behavior. Although we get more background on Dominic than Ben, they learn to like and trust each other and appreciate their personalities beyond just the superficial. This was an enjoyable read, nothing extraordinary happens, but it had steam and a sweet relationship with flying dragons.
