Rivals to lovers, undiagnosed neurodivergence, secret hook-ups and of course a lot of hockey! I'll admit that I had a couple of deja vu moments with a certain hockey romance that was made into a tv show, but I think that can happen with any rivals to lovers story... this one is sweet, building from frenzied hook-ups to more over a period of time... and both characters have their own neuro quirks - ones you think would make them incompatible, but they truly compliment each other!
I love how rich Brigham's worlds are and how the side characters have depth and a place in the story that truly cements the world that Tanner and Leif are part of. I also love the justaposition of the vibes of the Harriers and Rockets and how that impacts the players...
I can't wait to see how these two blend into the new spin-off series and who finds love in The Neutral Zone...
