Born to be Legends is the epic epilogue novella of the Soulbound series. A love letter to Patrick and Jono fans as we get to see them happy and getting married surrounded by friends, family, and pack.
From the blurb:
Some endings are just new beginnings.
Patrick Collins earned the peace he’s found in New York City with his pack through sacrifice. Six years out from the end of the world, he’s satisfied with the life he’s built and doesn’t think about what else the future might hold until he stumbles his way into a hostage situation he didn’t ask to be part of.
Jonothon de Vere would like nothing more than to wake up each morning with the love of his life and never deal with trouble again. Except Patrick has always been a magnet for such crises, and Jono isn’t one to stand idly by when his lover could use some help.
It feels just like old times when that’s the last thing they want, but maybe it’s also the reminder they need that the future isn’t set in stone. Maybe, just maybe, Patrick and Jono are finally ready to take the next step and walk down the aisle together.
Born to be Legends is what fans of Hailey Turner’s best-selling Soulbound series have been waiting for.
Molly Otto's review:
Thank you, Hailey, for making me cry again!
The epic conclusion to the Soulbound original series is here at long last! Patrick & Jono have battled more than their fair share of well everything to have their much deserved happiness. Was a wedding necessary to prove their lasting love, no? Was it down in a way that makes you cry happy tears? Yes. Hailey showed us their life beyond the final battle to show how beautiful their life now is. The perfect added bonus to the end of a series that I will not soon forget. Thank you, Hailey, for giving us this while staying true to these characters we have all come to know and love.
Novella #7.5 in series (Soulbound), must be read in order. Paranormal. Established couple. Found family. Dual POV.
No introduction is necessary as readers get to return to the Soulbound universe for Patrick and Jono’s wedding. This was such a delightful read, as Jono and Patrick are shown living happily years after the original series stories ended and this is like a love letter to the fans in the form of an extended epilogue. Jono and Patrick are just so deeply in love and so swoony enjoying their life together, their faithful friends and pack still surrounding them. There of course needs to be a little action but nothing angsty, so this story stays fully joyful. Loved it and am always sad to think it may be the last time I get to read anything new about Jono and Patrick, but these guys certainly deserve to ride off in the sunset.

"πππ'ππ πππ ππππππ π°'ππ ππππππ ππππ ππππ."
Hailey Turner dedicated this book to the fans and I truly think she wrote this entire novella with us in mind. Born to Be Legends reads like an extended epilogue and gives us exactly what I've always wished for Patrick and Jono, the ability to see them happy and in love without some dire situation hanging over their heads. I wanted them to get the peace they so rightly deserved after saving the world and Turner delivered that here.
I adored seeing how happy these two were in their domestic bliss. Yes, there is a little bit of action snuck into the plot, but mostly this was Patrick and Jono living their best life. Baby Lillian has grown and is still infatuated with all her packmates. Wade is a bit older than the teen he used to be, but still full of his witty insights. And eating enough to feed an army. Everyone seems like they have settled into their new lives surrounded by those they love.
Born to be Legends is available as an ebook and paperback.
