Ethan fails out of school when he leaves Foggy Basin and is finally able to be his true self, but with this failure is sent back to his family's ranch. Carter is brought to Foggy Basin to help run a ranch and watch over the owners wayward son. These two don't start on the right foot, Carter believing the rumors until he really sees Ethan for who he is. These two take a hot minute to come on the same page, yet when they do sparks fly and you get why they need to be in the others lives. What I appreciated were Ethans parents were not on the same page and his dad showed he actually saw Ethan, even when he wasn't always the best at showing it. Now his mother I hope one day she gets the wake up call she so desperately needs. A great addition to the Foggy Basin universe, and as usual I am looking forward to see the others authors works from this season.
