Milo & Rowan are back and this time Milo is a former boy band member/ current popstar and Rowan is his new bodyguard! Been loving the combined universe of each story throwing these two into a new reality!
Milos long standing bodyguard is about to take things slower so he is need of a new one who he can not only trust but be able to be in the same place with. Rowan is offered a trial as Milos bodyguard, not knowing the scope of his popularity, but as soon as he meets, he gets why, Milo just draws him in his orbit without letting go. It takes these two a bit to get on the same page, not wanting to interfere with this new dynamic, yet both wanting more. These two just get one another and help the other slowly take down each other's walls and learn what it's like to fully trust your person. Milos bestie Ethel is my spirit animal who just encourages than man to be his full chaos gremlin self and allows Rowan more insight in his past, to help build the future they both truly deserve. Loved this addition to this combined universe so hard and cannot wait to see the author's next take!

I am really enjoying the Because Canon Sucks AU series - and Idol AU is no exception! Written in Rye Cox's signature style, we get a music star and bodyguard romance that is low angst, steamy and has an instant connection but a slow burn. I enjoyed reading about how the side characters integrate into this world and I can't wait to see the next installment,
