Gideon, Declan & the rest of the Ravenstone Misfits crew are back this time for the local The Get Hopped Beer Festival to enjoy beer people and some friendly competition. With all the normies in town the supes look to our resident Alpha for guidance. Declans slowly adjusting to accepting he not only belongs here but is a witch, with Gideon and the misfits at his side he is heading into that right direction of acceptance. When the recent winner is found dead, the Misfits are on the case again and adored the shenanigans that they bring to this series, while remaining a beautiful found family. Gideon is struggling being an Alpha without a wolf, knowing Declan is his mate, but not having a wolf to fully confirm it. So, in a town full of supes, he gets to show Declan how much he cares. I truly adore the way they are steadfast as a couple even with obstacles that keep popping up, you know they are solid as a pair. I am looking forward to seeing what happens next in this world.

A beer festival and competition bring cheating accusations and hexes to the town of Ravenstone. So, of course Declan and Gideon (along with the group of magical misfits) are on the case, but when the winner turns up dead, there’s much more at stake and a ton more suspects.
A wonderful addition to this cosy mystery romance series. I really enjoy Declan and Gideon’s relationship as it grows, but it doesn’t seem quick for them as they both believe they may be mates. Gideon still shines as the unofficial Alpha in town and Declan is slowly building his magical education as a kitchen witch. The found family of misfits are still strong and important secondary characters as they work through the mystery together and support each other loyally. Such an entertaining and fun read, with some steam and romantic confessions, I can’t wait for more as I am worried about the next group of visitors coming into Ravenstone.
