UNKNOWINGLY ADOPTING THE ALPHA is a fated mates werewolf and human pairing.
From the blurb:
Jeremy
My first official day as Alpha started out amazing and I finally had the chance to tell my best friend how I felt about him. Finding him kissing my little brother was not what I had expected, and like any mature man, I ran away.
Cassian
There I was, finally free of my father and the big city, ready to live my life in a small town where I’d inherited a house. But on my way there, my life changed. Accidentally hitting a red wolf was the start of something beautiful. I’d just never expected the wolf I’d lovingly named Red to be a wolf shifter, or that shifters existed in the first place. It was a good thing Jeremy seemed just as intent on keeping me as I did him. Now we just needed to prove to his pack that a human being his fated mate, wasn't a mistake, and that I was somehow worthy of him.
Unknowingly Adopting the Alpha is a low angst paranormal romance with two men each longing for their happily ever after. One who escaped the life forced upon him and one freshly appointed Alpha. With kidnappings and pack members that disapprove, things are definitely not always easy.
Molly Otto's review:
Well, this book is just plain out adorable. Cassian needs to get away from his life under the controlling thumb of his father, so when his granddad leaves him a home, he quits his job and moves to start new. Jeremy is just appointed Alpha of his pack, what should be a great day ends up being anything but that. Into town Cass accidentally hits a wolf and doesn't trust the vet, so he decides to adopt Red (or really Jeremey, oops). These two don't exactly start off great but their connection is undeniable. Cassius is one of those men you cannot help but want to snuggle and keep forever, and his just accepting what his life has become is just so refreshing. what makes this story so dang entertaining is the friendships, they are a laugh a minute. Love Gregg, Silas and his pack omg they are a laugh a minute, seriously adored these men so dang much. Now for Milo, oh boy, good luck Darius, that one has some serious baggage, I leave it the authors capable hands for not wanting to strangle this man in his own story. Jeremy shows throughout why he is correct choice in being pack alpha, he has a steadfast nature of acceptance and loving his pack. Just a fun way to kick off a new series, I look forward to seeing more of this universe in the future.
