I don't know what it is about this series, but every author has stepped up their game and just showed how great of a writer they are. I haven't seen a combined series like this since AT RANDYS from last year. You just feel the authors got one another and wanted to keep the series together yet still uniquely themselves.
Kellan left Gomillion twenty years ago not planning at looking back until his 20-year high school reunion comes at that right moment in time and he knows it's time. Emmett never left town and now runs the local inn that keeps him grounded and content. With the reunion on the horizon, he didn't expect to see the man that broke his heart to enter his life once again. What I loved about this second chance romance was that it was not a I forgive you right away, no Kellan needs to prove this time he is here to stick around. The two have a slower courtship in first becoming friends than more when they are comfortable with their new normal. These two play beautifully off one another, you can feel the friendship and love they have for one another before they are able to say it aloud.
