Siren in Love (In Love Book 1) by Alexa Piper

What an adorable way to start a new PNR series!

From the Siren in Love blurb:

Mike is a siren with a law degree, and he’s straddled his supernatural heritage and living among humans for years without a hitch. Yet, dating a human is a first for Mike.

Corvin is bookish, cute, irresistible. It doesn’t take long before Mike knows he wants to share all his melodies with him. And it should be that easy, except the good things in life rarely are.

Siren in Love contains some gore, minimal decapitation, a hangry vampire boss, and books. So many books.

(Note: this book was previously published as Siren's Love Song. The story has been expanded on for it's re-release.)

Angel's review:

°°Dual POV°°, °°Human/Siren, °°Meet-Cute°°
I enjoy Alexa's writing, the way they create a world that is so fantastical yet realistic is a real talent! I like that I get completely swept away by their world building, their writing, and of course, their lovely characters. Mike and Corvin are absolutely precious I love their meet-cute! I was smiling the whole time as they were discussing pineapples and sherbet, their banter was adorable and endearing. That witty and playful dialogue continued between them throughout the whole story which I really enjoyed.

Mike being a Siren was really interesting, I haven't read very many books with a Siren character and I thought the way Alexa wrote this was really well done. I liked that Mike didn't just have powers related to water, he actually had multiple different powers which was really cool! His relationship with Corvin is just so amazing, he's so sweet and just wants the best for his sassy librarian.

This is a lighthearted story full of love, mystical beings, plenty of humor, lots of pineapples, and a vampire boss who I'm suite curious about!

Siren in Love is currently available as an e-book and paperback
