This is the third book and finally Fix's turn to find love. He never forgot about the sweet, sad boy he had to turn away when he came asking him for help. It wasn't really Fix's fault, but he is swamped with guilt until he can find the boy and make it right. Now that the drama with Hart has been settled in book 2, it's time for Daddy Fix to finally find his boy!
From the blurb:
Sometimes it feels like Fix's entire life can be summed up with two simple words: wanting and waiting.
Wanting a family. Wanting to belong. Wanting to protect. Wanting to love. And waiting endlessly to find it.
When a beautiful cam boy with a flurry of curses hanging over his head and a mysterious past asks for his help, Fix thinks all of the wanting and the waiting has come to an end.

Except Liam’s entire life can be summed up in just one word. Running.
Running from his past. Running from a rain of curses. Running from unwanted eyes stalking him. Running from the cursebreaker who feels like he can be the perfect dadd—man for Liam. Offering him everything he’s ever wanted. Protection. Care. Love.
Will they be able to fit their jagged edges together? Or will the shadow lurking behind Liam swallow them whole?

I totally adored Daddy Fix and his boy Liam. This did not go how I expected, and I liked that the ending surprised me. But before we got to that point, we had to deal with Liam continuously being cursed and Fix all but frothing at the mouth to help him any way he could. I kept wanting to yell at Liam anytime he pushed Fix away. Fix was exactly the type of person Liam needed in his life, but the poor boy was so scared to jump in with both feet.
I loved that no matter how much Liam protested, Fix continued to try and help him any way he could. That's just the type of man Fix is, hence his name. He was also drawn to Liam more than he'd been drawn to anyone before and I kept my fingers crossed for Liam to truly understand just what a gem he had in Fix. I knew as soon as he eventually believed that Fix was in it for the long haul and truly meant to care for him, that Liam would finally have some true happiness in his life.

Anonymous helper also made an appearance. I hope we find out who they are by the end of the series. They have me so curious. Of course we also had quite a few moments with the other cursebreakers on the team. I'm seeing some possible future matches for the others start to form, I'm looking at you Wren and Midas. And that sneak at the next book? Hello forbidden romance. I can hardly wait!
GreenwingReads review:
Where to start? This series is so good! I love all of the characters. This misfit band of cursebreakers works so well together, they are truly meant to be a family.

Liam is a cam boy down on his luck. He is plagued with curses and has been scraping by as best he can. He doesn't really trust anyone and after being turned away the last time he asked for help, he is reluctant to do so again. But Fix won't let it go and Liam gradually lets him in. There is a bit of mystery, some action, and a lot of love and steam as Fix and Liam realize they are perfect for each other.
This was one of the most satisfying romances I've read in a while, and it might be because Fix is such a good communicator. He doesn't let Liam off the hook when it comes to telling him what he needs and he isn't shy about sharing his own. Good thing their desires compliment each other so well!
I think having Liam will help Fix with some of his anxiety over wanting to "fix" everything for his brothers, which results in him being a bit overbearing sometimes. Lucky for him, Liam is happy to be the center of his attention.
Can't wait for Wren and Black's stories. I can't decide whose I want first, but I'm definitely ready to devour whatever comes next in this series!
