SNik's review:
Third in series (Got Your Six), but can be read as a standalone. Coworkers/teammates. Mature characters. POC representation. Dual POV.
Francois had a crush on his wingman years ago when they were in combat together, and now they are reunited as part of the elite Thunderbirds demonstration squadron for the US Air Force. Tristen didn’t realize his attraction to Francois was mutual, and once they declare their intent to pursue something more they are both all in.
This story had equal parts technical and realistic descriptions of the military life of the two main characters and plenty of emotional and steamy times between Francois and Tristen. I really appreciated their honest communication, unwavering immediate commitment, and that they both shared their feelings equally with no hesitation. There was no relationship angst, with some suspenseful action scenes, and a really supportive set of secondary characters, overall this was an entertaining read.
