The final Spencer Brother finds his truth and his HEA amidst the wreckage of being left at the alter... in The Best Man's Secret
From the blurb:
A note under my door, and suddenly, I have to tell my best friend he’s been jilted on his wedding day.
When it comes to Adam, there’s nothing I won’t do. I’ll go on his honeymoon, invite him to live with me, and forget I’m keeping secrets that could destroy our friendship.
I’ve wanted Adam for years, and now it seems my feelings are less one-sided than I thought.
Crossing this line could cost everything. After all, there’s a reason you shouldn’t fall for your best friend—especially when he thinks he’s straight.
The Best Man's Secret is a steamy MM romance featuring childhood friends, forced proximity, bi-awakening, and a love brewing for decades.
Expect romance, heat, fun, and secrets that won’t stay hidden for long.
Heather's Review:
River and Adam's story has been teased throughout the series and we've been waiting to see just how long it would take for these two to get together... and you have to suspend disbelief a little bit because Adam is fully committed to marrying Victoria right up until she does a runner from the venue... and yet, River still waits...
This book is a serious slow burn, bisexual awakening and even the forced proximity is almost not enough for Adam to get with the program... I applaud River for waiting for a definite sign from Adam, but man, this could have been so much steamier if he'd just taken some chances... that being said, it was still steamy, sweet and satisfying - all the things you expect from an Ana Ashely romance...
For those that dive right into this book without reading the previous two, what you'll miss is the longing in River's eyes, the complete obliviousness of Adam and some really stunning scenes with Victoria... I do recommend reading in order, but you'll still get the gist if you start here.
