Snow Storm by E.M. Lindsey

Snow Storm is a standalone hurt comfort holiday story.

From the blurb:

Claude doesn’t believe in love. Harley doesn’t believe in fate. But this holiday season, the universe has plans for the two men who have no idea just how much they need each other.

Harley James has spent most of his adult life trying to maintain his public persona as a calm, collected, slightly anxious best-selling author. But then his fiancé leaves him for their couple’s therapist, and something in him snaps.

Publicly.
In front of hundreds of strangers.

In order to avoid a bigger scandal, Harley is sent to a resort in small mountain town in the middle of nowhere until it all blows over. Which is fine. Really. He can deal with a little silence and solitude for a few weeks. Although he’s a city boy, there are worse things in life than a forced vacation.

But when a strong masseur with magic hands begins to crack him like the over-boiled egg he is, Harley finds the idea of going home less and less appealing. It helps that the gorgeous, older massage therapist seems to be the first person who’s understood him in decades.

Still, there’s more to the silver-fox than meets the eye, and Harley quickly discovers that this Christmas, there might be miracles, but there are also complications. And two men running from the expectations of those around them might just find their only escape is in each other’s arms.

Snow Storm is a holiday, stand-alone, age-gap romance about two men, a mountain town, Christmas miracles, and finding love where they least expect it. It features a recluse resort owner who has given up on love, a broken-hearted author who just wants to feel worthy of someone,YouTube lessons on massage, mistaken identities, high heat, humor, and above all, a swoony, steamy happily ever after full of Christmas cheer.

Molly Otto's review:

This one starts with a bang that will have you yearning for more. When Harleys life implodes it does spectacularly to the point the solace of Wrought Iron Resort is not only needed but life changing. Claude the owner who experienced an accident that has made it harder for him to feel intimacy again doesn't expect to meet a man who makes him want to try again. When Harley meets Claude in an unconventional way these two broken souls learn to trust and love once more. These two men show each other what it's like to have love that will change the fabric of their being. They learn to trust and believe they are allowed to be happy and strive for that happiness. This may not be your typical holiday romance but it's moving and soul purifying.
