We are headed back to Colliers Creek in time for the holidays! I'll be Boned for Christmas is a small town best friends to lovers romance .
From the blurb:
Nothing like getting caught streaking to bring people together for the holidays…
Jordan
I’ve got a rep in town for causing trouble, and it’s well-earned. But when Nick and I get caught streaking after the tree lighting ceremony, we’re in for a messload of community service to get the town ready for the Collier’s Creek Christmas Bash. Except I’ve been craving to be taken more seriously, and Nick seems to be the only person in town who does.
Nick
After Jordan and I get in trouble, one joke leads to slipping between the sheets—or at least, the stalls—and suddenly we’re hooking up on the regular. It’s everything I’d told myself I didn’t want from my straight best friend, and I’m falling too hard and too fast. Yet my sister’s upcoming wedding is the reminder that I’m not just looking for a plus one there…but for keeps, and Jordan and I are just temporary. No matter how badly I want him to be mine.
Celebrate the holidays with the men of Collier’s Creek, where magic fills the air and irresistible romances are the highlight of the festive season. Six low-angst romances, each filled with heartwarming moments and swoon-worthy romance.
Molly Otto's review:
Now, this is how I prefer a best friend to lovers romance. These two goofballs truly know one another and just need the right nudge to take that next step to be something more. This is a light-hearted happy holiday read of two friends who become closer after a crazy night of shenanigans. Jordan & Nick just enable each other yo be better and accept each other as they are. Their none of that silly trying to make them different. No, they accept and love each other. Perfect holiday read.
SNik's review:
Part of a multi-author series (Collier’s Creek Christmas), but can be read as a standalone. Best friends to lovers. Small town. Dual POV.
Jordan and Nick are two childhood best friends that have shared all kinds of adventures and getting caught streaking is just one of their most recent reasons for getting into trouble. But there's something about this holiday season that has them spending more time together and exploring some steamy times for the first time, as Jordan has a bi-awakening and Nick gets to have a little fun with the friend he has always had a little crush on.
These two easily fall into intimacy, and it is super spicy as the both also fall into feelings that they realize their relationship can be a forever kind of romantic one as well. Both Jordan and Nick are likable, have supportive family members and friends, and the importance of their shared friendship is a solid basis for them to risk their hearts for more. A really sweet holiday read.
Heather's Review:
We're back in Collier's Creek and it's the perfect time for a best friends to lovers, bisexual awakening with a little streaking, a little community service and a whole lot of snow melting steam... reading Nick and Jordan's story was fun and funny, with goofball besties, one oblivious guy and the guy who has been crushing on him for years!
It's low angst, high steam and full of stuff you'll just shake your head at and then you add in a little holiday magic and it's chef's kiss...
I loved last year's Colliers Creek Christmas series and if they're all this swoony, steamy goodness this year, it's another multi-author series I'll have to read all of!
I'll be Boned for Christmas is currently available as an e-book and paperback and can be read as part of your Kindle Unlimited Subscription
