Camelot's Tower is part of the Tales from the Tarot shared universe, and is based on the Tower card. This is an Arthurian legend with a twist, brought to the modern day and is a slow burn.
From the blurb:
Will
For the last 23 years, I’ve had nothing but bad luck. Why? I’m the last living descendant of Merlin, sorcerer and adviser to King Arthur, and our family broke a blood oath to the king of legends.
Now, it's my job to wake him up, save him from his curse, and hopefully, rid myself of mine, while ignoring the fact that medieval times—and somehow tie-dye—looks a little too good on the boy who would be king.
Arthur
For the last 1,500 years, I’ve waited to be freed, stuck inside a tomb of stone. With every passing year, I've been forced to watch through the eyes of others as the world I knew changed time and time again.
Now I'm back, thrust into a new and confusing world. My knights, my kingdom, my people . . . All lost to the sands of time. All because I lost myself and my purpose. But when those despairing thoughts creep in, there’s one light that keeps my hope from snuffing out, and he has bright, blue eyes, raven-black hair, and a snarky mouth that I have finally met in the flesh and who might get me to believe love can conquer all.
Camelot's Tower is a standalone MM romance novel as part of the multi-author collaboration Tales from the Tarot. This book is based on the major arcana card, The Tower.

Rogue's review:
- Tarot
- magic
- slow burn
This is part of the Tarot collection, all linked by the magic shop and inspired by a Tarot card. The card for this story is the Tower card. This story takes the legend of Arthur, Camelot, the Knights of the Round Table and search for the Holy Grail and brings it into modern day where Will Towers is the last descendent of Merlin. This is a real twist on the Arthurian legend, tying in the magic shop and the tarot card too. I really enjoyed this, I loved Will and his family - who are all varying degrees of crazy, and loved that they took to Arthur too and adopted him as their own.
I loved the idea that Arthur had been cursed and turned to stone until Will woke him up, and loved him learning to interact with the modern world too. This is a long book, but the story moves along quickly with the search for the Treasures and the grail, it never dragged or felt padded out. This is a slow burn, but once they get there, whoa. Heat aplenty between these two and I was here for it. I loved this, such a great take on the myth of Arthur and Camelot.
